Administrators and Teachers

The administrators and teachers at iQ Academy California-Los Angeles have extensive experience in public and private education. Together, they provide a strong backbone for day-to-day operations.

Head of School

Cathy Andrew,  Head of School

Cathy Andrew received her bachelor’s degree in history from the College of Charleston, SC and her master’s degree in Education Policy from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.  She has taught in brick and mortar as well as online settings and holds an administrative credential.  Cathy began her career in online education in 2008, and has served as teacher, trainer, coordinator of learning evaluation and student achievement, and Director prior to her current role as Head of School with iQ Academy.  Cathy believes in the power of an educational approach that values the partnership of parent-student-teacher.

Guidance Counselor

Tiffany Studer

Tiffany Studer completed her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work.  She then continued her education at California State University, San Bernardino, receiving her M.S. degree in counseling and guidance, as well as a pupil personnel services credential in school counseling.  Tiffany also completed the additional coursework for the licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and is registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a professional clinical counselor intern (PCCI).   Tiffany believes it is important to be able to identify each child’s unique talents and build them into strengths and successes.  

Assistant Academic Administrator

Cathy Wilson Rademacher

Cathy received her Bachelor’s degree from California State University San Marcos and her Master’s in Educational Administration with an Administrative Credential from National University.  She began her career teaching in brick and mortar schools and has taught grades ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade in the classroom.  Cathy began teaching online in 2012 and moved into a blended model in 2013 in which her teaching was a blend of online and classroom experiences. Prior to becoming the Assistant Academic Administrator for iQ Academy, she served as the Kindergarten - 2nd grade Lead Teacher in the blended setting. Cathy believes whole-heartedly in the individualized model of education that iQ offers our families in which we are able to offer customized academic plans to our students as well as opportunities to engage with their teachers and peers in a meaningful way.
